San Antonio Diablos is SA's GLBT-friendly Flag Football Team. It is open to anyone!

San Antonio, along with Dallas, Houston, Tyler and Austin, make up the Lone Star Flag Football Conference. We joined the National Gay Flag Football League in 2009 and played in two championship tournaments - Gay Bowl IX in Washington DC and X in Phoenix. This year the team will participate and represent our city in Gay Bowl XI in Houston (October).

The team plays a monthly scrimmage game against other Texas teams in preparation for the Gay Bowl. Additionally, the team participates in non-football events such as volunteering for local community organizations (ie Food Bank, CitiGroup Pride, OysterBake, Fiesta) and social events (team tubing, camping, BBQ etc).

There is an annual membership fee of $50 which the new member receives a team t-shirt. The fee is used to cover shirt, flags, and other team expenses through out the year.
