The following is a breakdown of a Savate seminar featuring Armando
Basulto at Team Trident Martial Arts on the Outer Banks (OBX) of
North Carolina.

First just let me Thank Armando for an excellent work out. My people
were complaining about all sorts of things hurting, that weren't
hurting before..good job! It's nice to mix it up a bit.

The seminar was open to the public for the first day, and the second
was closed to only my staff.

Day one started with footwork essientials, this is why my people
can't walk..hehe. "Up on the toes", was the name of the game. You
fellow Savatuers out there should be familiar with this phrase.

Next we moved into tool development. In this, we did
somewhere between ten and a billion rounds of focus mitts and glove
work. It was great. Everyone loved it.

Finally, we did some sparring or "Assault" as they say. This is where
we got to play and really get to see what we learned.

Day two we finished with testing.

Armando is an exceptional instructor, and has a way of communicating
technique in a fun and easy to learn manner. All in all it was a
great experience. My students and I really enjoyed having him out,
and look forward to having him out again in the future.
