Hi
I am no savateur or anything but as a JKD guy came into contaqct with
some of the savate techniques which i only sparingly trained in.
One day however when doing the (sorry i don't know the french term)
savate sidekick, imanaged to pull the muscle or nerve or something
that runs down the outside of my left leg.
This is easily the worst injury i have ever had in martial arts.
It took about 4 months for me to walk without a limp and to this day
any time i train hard i get a nasty ache in my leg, almost like
arthritis. kicking for me has become practilly impossible above the
knee, i can barely stretch my legs anymore and any sort of pressure
like prolonged stretching or too many side kicks in a row will make
me pay for days.
is there some sort of a stretch i can do that might help to releive
the obvious problem i have developed in my leg?
A TKD buddy of mine suggested that I have damaged the nerves where
the long muscle runs down the leg.
