Fellow Sacramento Skating Email Group Members,
I am writing to tell you about my inline skating lessons, and to get
your feedback.
Let's look at the marketing mix of my skating lessons:
1. The product. The lessons are good. They cover skating safely,
striding, turning, and stopping - core elements important to skating.
I have skated for about 10 years. I have taken many skating lessons,
and I have passed the skating and instruction tests to be a certified
as an instructor by the International Inline Skating Association.
Past students recommend my lessons.
2. The price. $35.00 for an individual lesson. $20 per person for
group lessons.
And now a special offer for this March, April, and June: $20 per
person for two group lessons. The first group lesson with this
special pricing ($20) will be on March 13, Saturday, at 11:00 a.m.
The second group (free) lesson will be one week later on March 20,
Saturday at 11:00 a.m. These special lessons will start at the Pony
Express statue at 2nd and J Streets in Old Sacramento.
3. The distribution. Lessons are available locally in many requested
locations.
4. Promotion. Until this year, this has been the weak link in my
product mix. Thanks in part to my Marketing 300 class, I hope to
improve this. I have distributed some flyers. I am using some email.
I am using my Sacramento Skating website:
(

advertise in the Bee.
Inline skates, pads, and helmets can be rented for $8 to $10 at 2nd
and Front Street - one block from the lessons.
Come learn a fast growing aerobic sport to improve your health and
have fun.
