Fellow Sacramento Skating Email Group Members,
I am forwarding a note from Gerald Lim, Leader of the Davis Wednesday
Night Skate. Gerald is coordinating particiaption in the October 31,
Friday, Halloween Skate in San Francisco:
Hi skaters,
We haven't carpooled to SF Friday Night skate in a long while. How
about we do it on Halloween next week? Most skaters will show up in
costumes. Let me know if you're interested ( Gerald Lim [f2f4 AT
davis.com, 530-758-9007].
Let's plan to meet at 4th and C in Davis at 6:30 so we can get to SF
early and get a bite to eat before the skate starts.
If there's enough interest, we can start a carpool from Sacramento
as well. The skate usually ends at 11:30 or later, so you might want
to bring water and quarters for toilets.
For those who haven't gone before, here's the current route (copied
from
http://www.cora.org/friday.phtml):
Ferry Building Plaza (leave at 9:00 sharp)
Pier 39 (Bring quarters for the telescopes).
Aquatic Park/Fort Mason

Exploratorium Rotunda (Wild circle skate)

Union Street (Skitching. Kids don't try this at home).
Broadway Tunnel (Magic fingers for your feet)

Stockton Tunnel
Union Square (Stupid skating tricks)
