Fellow Sacramento Skating Email Group Members,
This email is going out to presidents and webmasters of skating clubs
throughout North America. Please see the notice below for
information about a new online training program for marathon
skaters. I would appreciate it if you could pass this information to
your members. We are even offering the program free of charge to
those registered for the upcoming Northshore Marathon in Duluth,
Minnesota!
Thanks in advance for your help,
Sincerely,
Allan Wright

MarathonSkating.com Program Starts August 3rd
Zephyr Adventures' new online marathon training program for the
Northshore Marathon starts August 3rd. The program features six
weeks of tips and advice from five skating experts, including 12-time
World Champion Cheryl Ezzell Matula. The five content areas
(Training, Technique, Nutrition, Strengthening & Stretching, and
Marathon Secrets) are tailored to three separate ability levels:
First Time Marathoners, Two Hour Marathoners, and Advanced
Marathoners. The program contains many times over in value the $70
price tag; however, those registered for the 2003 Northshore Marathon
will receive the program free as a special offer.
The $70 online program will be repeated for the Cactus Classic
scheduled for November 2nd in Tucson, Arizona. In addition,
MarathonSkating.com will run a three-day Marathon Weekend Package
that includes the Online Program, Cactus Classic race entry, a
costumed Halloween Friday Night Skate open to the public, race
instruction, hotel lodging, local transportation, and most meals.
The cost of the weekend is $500.
This online training program is the first of its kind in the world
for marathon skaters. Please see http://www.MarathonSkating.com for
more information and please help spread the word!
