If you’re one of the hundreds of people from all over the country (20 states and counting!) and as far away as Japan who’ve already registered for the Philly Skate Jam, we thank you! If you’ve been holding out for the the 5-day forecast, you can now register in confidence! AccuWeather (www.accuweather.com) predicts sun the whole weekend with only a possibility of precipitation!
The advantage to registering now is that you’ll have more fun: You’ll be socializing, skating, or partying in your (or someone else’s) luxurious room — whatever — the important thing is that you won’t be waiting in a long line! As it stands, we’ll have over 200 people registering on-site, plus over 300 pre-registrants picking up packets. On-site registration closes at 7pm, so you do the math! Remember that this is event is run by volunteers, and we don’t have an unlimited number of them to help out with on-site registration. So please help our volunteers and yourself by registering now at http://www.phillyskatejam.org/C/registration.
No matter how you register, you’ll be treated to a weekend of great skating, with some of the most innovative routes yet dreamed-up by our skate planners! Even more sponsors, such as Salomon, K2, and Merck have signed-on and donated prizes for our raffles or other goodies! A K2 rep is flying in from Seattle, and we’ll have the Salomon demo van too!

P.S. Packet pickup (and registration) is on the third floor of the hotel between 4 and 7 pm Friday and between 9 and 10 am Saturday. There will be signs in the lobby to that effect.
