Fellow Sacramento Skaters,

I am forwqarding this note, which came from Gerald Lim, Leader of the
Wednesday Night Davis Skate:

Hi everybody!

Starting June 6, I'll be leading a shorter Thursday night family-
oriented
skate starting at 7:30 from the Davis Indoor Sports Center
(http://www.davisindoor.net), an indoor skating facility with
showers, a
cafe, a bar, and a nice skate shop. They've started stocking some
outdoor
skating equipment and hope to expand their inventory.

Here's my proposed first route using the map at
www.taps.ucdavis.edu/Davis_Bike_Map.pdf.:

1. From Davis Indoor Sports Center, go north on Pena
2. East on 5th Street onto bike path
3. Bike path eventually turns west and crosses Arroyo Avenue
4. At end of bike path, turn north on Caricia Drive
5. After crossing 5th Street, turn west onto another bike path
6. Follow bike path north to La Playa Park for first rest stop
7. Choice of two bike paths to East Covell Boulevard
8. Cross East Covell Boulevard to Caravaggio Drive
9. Turn left on Duchamp Street to head north to a small park for the
second
rest stop
10. Continue north on Duchamp Street, then turn west on Rockwell Drive
11. Turn left on Moore Road to continue west to Pole Line Road
12. Enter bike path to head in a southeasterly direction back to East
Covell
Boulevard
13. Cross East Covell Boulevard to head south on Manzanita Lane
14. Head east on Temple Drive
15. Stop at Slide Hill Park for third rest stop
16. South on Tulip Lane
17. East on Ponteverde Lane
18. South on San Rafael Street
19. Cross 5th Street to continue south on Pena back to Davis Indoor
Sports
Center.
