Hi Everyone, Mark and I were discussing these innovative new skates last night. The skates use much larger, side mounted wheels for greater comfort, stability and speed. I didn't know the name of them and as promised, I looked them up. I saw a skater wearing them at the San Francisco Pride this past weekend. I hope everyone can benefit from this post. Next topic: I just searched Google for Sacramento Bike Map and found that this site, gives a link near the middle of the page, "bike trail maps" that takes us to a page to download Acrobat Reader .pdf maps showing both existing and proposed future bike trails. (See the legend and look at the top most blue with white line routes, Class 1, Off street bike path) The north Sacramento .pdf shows clearly the route we took last night. The link below takes ya to the first page, the second link takes ya directly to the download page. It is helpful to blow the maps up to about 125% for better legability. It may take a few seconds to download the map. Mine was not instant.

And Finally (*Bernie* & all!) A FREE advertisment about our group has been generously given by The Valley Rainbow Pages and will be printed online as well as a hard copy of the phone book for the next full year! Here is a link to the online ad... I'll remember to bring a few hard copies next week...
