I would agree with that premise .. kata does cause movement but not
just any movement ... movement that disrupts the attack, then unlocks
the resistance then renders the opponent under control (frequently a
KO) and then frequently a killing technique [protect unlock control
and then kill] in that order ...
well at least the older fighting katas do ... the newer ones ... some
are just modern dance ... lol
