Dear Friends,

I am a 27 years old Shotokan karateka and unfortunately tore my right
ACL in a kumite 2 weeks ago. Did anyone have ACL before? Suggestion of
my doctor is a surgery if I want to continue karate. What kind of
training/exercise do I need to perform to strengthen my knee? Is it
possible to continue karate without surgery, is it so risky?

I would be grateful to hearing your suggestions. ..

Best Regards
