and to commemorate the anniversary of Shimabuku Tatsuo Sensei's
passing on May 30th, 1975
Mount Royal College Isshin-Ryu Karate and Kobudo is proud to present
a weekend seminar with AJ Advincula Sensei, May 26th, 27th and 28th,
2006.
All styles and levels are welcome

Seminar Schedule:

Friday May 26th - Open workout 7-9pm; Meet & Greet after at the
Liberty Lounge with Advincula Sensei in attendance.

Saturday May 27th
10 am - 12pm - Sanchin Kata, proper body mechanics, bunkai, usage,
and kumite drills from the kata with Advincula Sensei

1pm to 4pm - Shimabuku Tatsuo's Kumite – The self defence techniques
taught by Tatsuo Shimabuku on Okinawa

Sunday May 28th - 10 am - 12 pm – Knife technique/disarms with
Advincula Sensei

1 pm - 3 pm – Continuation and review, demonstrations by those who
would like to, and any possible guests

3pm - 4 pm Q & A session

7 pm to Close - Wrap up party at the Liberty Lounge - includes
video presentation and demos if any would like to do something
outside of the seminar venue

Price:
$50 Canadian for Saturday OR Sunday or $90 Canadian for BOTH days
Open workout is free.

There are no Hotels/Motels really close to the College so I am

can share vehicles.

Motel Village is located on Crowchild Trail/Banff Trail and 16th
Avenue (Trans Canada Highway). A short drive of 15 to 20 minutes
