Yeah..That's true, and has always been a problem. But Old folks have jobs..and family obligations or other long range plans etc. I took leave for the tourney (I'm old and need time to recoup B4 work) but some folks are not able to do so, and family comes first. Besides where were all the college kids at when the call went out..oh yeah there gone, or working somewhere. If you really want to play tournaments (this goes 4 everyone out there) its painfully obvious, this is not the org for you, no matter how hard we try to make it into one. Join a competitive team fro Austin, or make one here, and just use wed and sun with SAULT to add extra cardio/scrimmage sessions. We did that in OKC and it worked well, and several folks do that already.

BTW what time today 4 or 6??? Its hot out there.

So we�re about a month away from the Riverside Summer Classic. We have had 7 teams submit a bid and several more submit interest. Hotels abound around Austin as do camping grounds. Let us know if you need help with this.

There will be an actual though cheesy trophy for the winner. We�ll have the traditional breakfast as well as discs and possibly tshirts for sale.

This is early in the season so it�s a good way to jump kick the club season. We expect everyone will just be beginning to get into shape for the fall series.

I'll be there shortly after 6:00 too. If we can get a game going by 6:30 or 6:45 it would be EXCELLENT.

The stadium is located in the heart of Trinity campus, accessible from the 281 access road or Shook Avenue. Look for the 6 and 8 story dorms and the towering field lights. The best place to park is next to the outdoor pool.

Who:    Ultimate crowd and significant others. Kids are welcome until Moon gets his 3rd drink in him, then all bets are off.

We're confirmed at Trinity tonight for Ultimate but there's one catch: The IM fields (where we usually play) are off limits so we've been upgraded to the FOOTBALL STADIUM!!!! The one problem is that we don't have access to the lights tonight so we'll have to stop when it gets dark. With the Spurs game this might be a logical quitting time anyway, but let's get started promptly at 6:30 so we can get in a full game. Maybe folks want to show up even earlier?

EM Stevens Stadium is in the middle of campus and can be accessed from the 281 South access road (north side of the IM field) or from Shook Avenue. E-mail me directly if you need more information.
