I am up for hosting another medium low-key thing in August, at the same fields
if available. Omar, please mention to your SAMYS contact, that this is a
possible thing we might want to do -- I will be happy to coordinate this one.
It would be a club sectionals tuneup. something like that August thing in
Houston 2 1/2 years ago. Probably not attracting the DW's, since there are
higher-level tuneups available elsewhere in August. But, we would probably be
able to attract Rick's outfit, Mark Worley's if that isn't Rick's, Angus,
Lemurs, Riverside, etc, maybe a UT team, a field of 8 or so.
PS: I don't really care how we look. I do care who we are. We hosted a tourney
for some strangers in a sport where the _very_ rules accomodate a lack of class
("line calls ... may involve sighting between cones ..."), even for
championship series tourneys. WE had a low-key tourney, and did THAT with some
class. That is good for our (real) sport.
