We’ve had 7 v 7 with subs the past two

The main page should be changed to 7pm start time. Just a thought.
Hey,
For those of you I dont talk to on a regular basis (other than text
messages on wednesday nights, asking for absurd... "things"). I am
throwing a birthday bash at my place. Byob. Need directions? Call 504

Ciao,

ps: Mike... i should be able to remember the password this time.
Oh since you’re new to the area, we
play at A.C. Steere (Broadmoor) Park. I don’t know if this map will show
up, but it’s right across the street from BroadmoorBaptistChurch
on Youree Drive
between Southfield
and Kings Highway.
The parking lot we all use is the one off of Grover, not Preston.

I just placed an order for another box of practice discs because it
seems like we're short on good plastic at the game.
Discraft has jacked up the price of the discs AND the shipping, so
instead of the usual $5 or $6 I've been asking, the price is now firm
at $7.
Also, there used to be an option for all white discs as well, but they
have removed that option. So we are guaranteed to get some color discs.
I'll post a message on the board when they arrive so people can get
first dibs if they are interested in getting one.
Alright, this has been a topic many of times in the past.
Who is willing to help host a Tournament here?
What are peoples thoughts on format?
Is Clyde Fant the best place to hold it?
Where could we throw the party?
What should be provided (food/disc/tshirt)?
Most importantly, When?
I would do my best to find some player if anyone wants to go. The only
thing is most of the players I know down here are my age and classes
start like the week following this tourny. Just let me kknow it it
looks like we could maybe put a team together.

I should be in town and can probably get a few women
and guys if the
degradeables can muster up a crew.
The coed division for Texas2Finger is struggling at the moment, we
only have 3 teams paid, 3 more likely to come, and 2 on the fence.
We could really use 1-2 local teams to come together to convince
those on the fence to make it.
The party will be at Big Jim's Warehouse and we will be serving
dinner at the fields. Get the cleats out of the closet, round up
some friends from your last winter league team, your current
grapevine or Allen team, and a couple of guys from your local pick-
up team and come out to Las Colinas for a good tournament.
How often do you only have to drive 10-20 miles for a good
tournament? This tournament can only grow if the local groups
support it, we have teams registered from Arkansas,
Kansas, Alabama,
Texas, New Mexico,
and hopefully Arizona and Oklahoma this week.
If you want to see this tournament grow into a South region tune-up
we have to prove we can fill the divisions with teams.

Move to Dallas where play starts 5 min after the posted time, you
can play 6 or more times a week, the women are plentiful and young,
the beer is always cold, the sun shines close to me arse, and you
have to woeey more about being last back to get in to play the most
you can before the sun goes down!!!!
Just a suggestion?!?!?

The way I see it happening is we move the time up to 7:00, and then people show
up around 7:30, and we play around 7:45.
Chris says he's one of the worst about coming late, but I feel like he's got a
legitimate excuse that he won't make. When you're working until 7:00 or 7:30,
it's hard to show up on time. I've passed him on Preston Rd by AC Steere at 7:30
on a Wednesday night when he's on his way home from getting off of work, still
in uniform. NOBODY was at the field yet. What excuses did everyone else have?
If we move up to 7:00, let's all show and warm up quickly so we can play by
7:15.

Well, it is obvious that getting the lights to stay on till 10pm again
might not happen so what should we do. We never get started playing
until after 8pm and that gives us less than 1 hour of playing. I am one
of the worlds worse at showing up on time and I know I am not alone.
This is the main reason we start so late. Starting Wednesday the 2nd I
will start showing up at 7pm in and effort to start playing sooner I
hope others will as well. Also, I will post a pole on this sight with
some suggestions on how to fix the situation. This I'm sure is an
exercise in futility due to the lack of participation on this site. But
I will post all the same. Please vote on the pole. Thanks,
Chris
Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the
s_p_u group:
What should we do to extend our playing time on Mondays and Wednesdays.
o Change start time to 6:30pm.
o Change start time to 7:00pm.
o Move game to Clyde Fant Parkway.
o Give up and do nothing.
o Everyone were glow-in-the-dark shirts and play in the dark.
o Start a daytime game and play blind folded.

Congratulations! If she won’t come
out and play, bring out to watch. Everyone could use a cheering section. Best
of luck to you two.
I got married when I wasn’t much
older than you, so you can make your own judgment about whether or not I think you’re
too young.
