I'm not as worried about the lights going off at 9:00 (shocker!) as I am that
people drag ass coming out. I'm in favor of a 7:00 start time, but shouldn't we
take more responsibility for being adults who are capable of getting to places
on time?

The way I see it happening is we move the time up to 7:00, and then people show
up around 7:30, and we play around 7:45.

Chris says he's one of the worst about coming late, but I feel like he's got a
legitimate excuse that he won't make. When you're working until 7:00 or 7:30,
it's hard to show up on time. I've passed him on Preston Rd by AC Steere at 7:30
on a Wednesday night when he's on his way home from getting off of work, still
in uniform. NOBODY was at the field yet. What excuses did everyone else have?

If we move up to 7:00, let's all show and warm up quickly so we can play by
7:15.

Well, it is obvious that getting the lights to stay on till 10pm again
might not happen so what should we do. We never get started playing
until after 8pm and that gives us less than 1 hour of playing. I am one
of the worlds worse at showing up on time and I know I am not alone.
This is the main reason we start so late. Starting Wednesday the 2nd I
will start showing up at 7pm in and effort to start playing sooner I
hope others will as well. Also, I will post a pole on this sight with
some suggestions on how to fix the situation. This I'm sure is an
exercise in futility due to the lack of participation on this site. But
I will post all the same. Please vote on the pole. Thanks,
