Hi again teenrapide-

Was this bike acquired in the UK? I seem to recall Dick mentioning
that there were some companies that copied his design there...

The custom hardware doesn't look like any Ryan that I have seen, but I
still can't quite rule it out. The workmanship seems lower than Dick's
work to me though.

But I can tell you that it probably feels very similar to a Ryan when
you are sitting on it :) the frame geometry is very close.

Seat clamp arrangement doesn't look like a Ryan original, but it might have been 'created' by the current owner in an effort to improve the bike (??). Side...

... My Ryan Recumbent was the real deal.They only made 1,200.The Ryan Shield was still on the front and on the frame it had Vanguard....

Paint job looks 'after-market' and not the best quality. Seat block arrangement and handlebars are not Ryan quality as I know it to be. The seat is not what...
