You don't have to give up bike riding because of knee surgery.  I had a knee replaced in March "03 and my husband and I rode a Ryan duplex around Lake Ontario in July "04.  Yes, I was on the back of a tandem, but I pulled all the "gentle hills" on the southern side of the lake.  The only one I gave up on was a steep one in Niagara Falls.  You can do it!  Lenora

I suggest that you ask kirk to take it to his local bike store. The store can disassemble the Ryan and get it shipped for a fee. Kirk just delivers it locally....
