lower half of seat clamp?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #296 of 533 |
to my dismay, just discovered the lower half of the seat clamp (part
the handlebar bolts to) has broken where to bolt passes through. the
handlebars are still functional, though wobbly, and are likely to fail
very soon resulting in loss of steering. there's plenty of space
available, so i drilled a new hole through the clamp and re-attached
handlebars. all is well, but i would very much like to obtain a new
clamp nonetheless. any suggestions? THANKS

Greg Peek at Longbikes is also a full machine shop and can make 'anything'. I'd suggest contacting him to inquire if he can make a replacement part for you....
