I just picked up my Vanguard from the local bike shop where they put on a new (used) front fork. By the time they had removed it, the fork had cracked all the way around, just below the weld for the steering tube attachment. One thing that both I, and the owner of the bike shop, were surprised at, was how thin the metal was on the fork. Luckily, I was not riding the bike when I first discovered the crack.
Has anyone else had a Vanguard front fork crack? I am almost thinking about ordering a spare from Longbikes as I would think that perhaps they are now using a thicker grade steel on the forks.

I’m going out to look for a crack right now. Thanks for the tip.
While you’re at it, ask Longbikes if they have ever made a fork for a 20 inch wheel! That would make the bike a 20x20. Dumb idea? What say ye?
