The Vanguard I bought from Longbikes in 1999 already had a little
T-bar handlebar for mounting lights, though my previous Vanguard did
not. I thought that was standard equipment now for LWB bents.
I don't use mine, as I have a helmet-mount headlight, though it does
come in handy sometimes for steadying the bike while opening gates or
garage doors, when I can't reach the seat back.
