Zamek won Midland

To answer a TM question from many posts back:

Mark Zamek won Midland in 1992. I believe his time was 48:15. I was
injured that year and volunteering the finish line for RVRR and I
remember how cool it was to hear the announcer say that "the lead
runners,Mark Zamek and Tom Bowmaster are entering the park"

When I saw Mark clear some room and win, I was thrilled to be the first
person at the finish line to give him water. He's a great guy and
tremendous asset to the club.

We are all poorer for the loss of Midland. there is a big hole on our
May calendars.

Chris, I agree but would bet that a number of these non-USATF races have been eliminated in the past few years. Before they become Grand Prix races, they...

Rolf, I would love to hear where you see USATF New Jersey (or National) falling short. We cannot do better and meet your needs unless we know what it is that...
