Only three weeks until the Alma Mater AR training race
at Rutger University! A handful of folks have signed
up, all of them fast - it looks like a competitive
field. The Army have been busy placing numbered posts
all over my orienteering section - probably for their
own navigation training - which makes life easier for
me and more confusing for you! I was out testing the
campus section yesterday and zipped through it in no
time flat, so I'll be lengthening the orienteering
section.
Wildlife - Deer, deer, more deer, famed D&R Canal
attack geese, turkeys, turtles, coeds, Army trainees.
Prizes - I will have fun and wildly useful prizes for
the winner and by a random drawing.
Please register by emailing me (not the list) so I can
ensure there are enough boats, maps, and passports.

- Individuals are responsible for their bike, food,
water, first aid, raingear, etc.
- You need max $40 cash for on-site canoe/kayak
rental, or bring your own boat (contact me for
details)
- Pen and bike lock required, paddle, pfd and cell
phone recommended
- Post-race party
