Having played in a number of countries from the very well developed too young rugby nations, I realized that there was a big divide between the nations and there standards of rugby. I also realized that there isn’t any real way for players and coaches from different parts of the world to talk, ask questions and have discussions. If players from all over the world, especially those from younger rugby playing nations could get together to meet each other, to be able to chat, ask questions, ask for advice or even tell a story. A place where knowledge could be shared and new things could be learnt. Wouldn’t rugby develop? Wouldn’t the divide shrink and the standard rise?
My answer to this was to create a group on the internet so that this could happen. I am the owner of an internet group specifically aimed at bringing these people together. Closing the divide that exists at the moment. I started this group in June 2005. Since then the group has grown steadily and attracted people from all over the world.
