Austin told me that we are going to the tournament in vegas for sure
now.  Can anyone verify this for me?  I just want to make sure its
happening before I make plans to come out.  Also, there seems to be
some new people at UCR Ultimate, so is there still enough room on the

We're meeting at 8:15AM on Saturday in front of the Rec. Center (By

I know there is an interest in picking up another day of play.  I will
go over this week and see if we can add Thurs to the mix.  I will also
see if there are any available weekends in Nov for a mini Tourney.
I'll keep you posted.

FYI - remember that flag football has priority over us,  so wherever
they set up we will go to the open space.  Just a reminder to EVERYONE
  to tread lightly when negotiating field space. If there is space
available/enough people, you can set up another field, but I doubt it.

ps Andy - I am actually not sure how the liability issue works,  I
don't know if we should allow minors to play on the IM fields.  I
think with the old timers they would be their own
liability/responsibility. I'm not trying to be a d#$%,  I just have to
look out for keeping a good rep with the school esp since we are a new
group.  There is no problem whatsoever playing with us in local
tourneys, or even if we go back to the soccer fields, since they are
partly owned by the city.

The Tournament will run from January 17th  till the 21st , 2007 in

It's Cramer from UCR.....not my alter ego Bob Wanker. Whenever you get
information about the scrimmage, such as exactly where it's going to be, what
times, and what teams will be there, let me know. We should almost definitely
have a team going.

As for UCR people, I have for sure (People who've emailed me):

I'd figure we're bringing at least 10, which is pretty good for relatively short
notice and the fact that UCR started nine months later than every other school
in America. Again, for UCR people, if you're definite and haven't emailed me at
KCramer@... please do so and once I have all the info, I'll relay it to
you in terms of where we'll meet and rides and stuff.

Hey Guys. This is Simon from Cal Poly. We want to do a Saturday
scrimmage. Four teams. Each team plays three games. First game
around 9:00 in the morning with hard cap at 90 mins and 15 min
breaks. So far it is Cal Poly, Azusa Pacific, and UCR. I haven't
heard back from Redlands or Fullerton. But if neither of them can
come then I will invite Claremont. Still trying for Oct. 7. Later.
