| Milan’s injured Brazilian star Ronaldo is set to become a father for the second time. El Fenomeno already has a son, Ronald, from his first marriage to Milene Domingues. And just weeks after a sex scandal involving transvestite prostitutes gripped the world of football, Ronaldo’s mother has revealed that the Selecao star is ready to become a father again. Sonia Nazario de Lima told Brazilian newspaper O Dia that Ronnie’s girlfriend Maria Beatriz is pregnant. After a well-publicised split, the couple are said to be back together and will meet in Rio De Janeiro next week. It remains to be seen whether a new child affects Ronaldo’s plans to return to the pitch once he has fully recovered from his severed tendon. The former Inter hitman has stressed his desire to wear the Milan shirt again, but is weighing up the possibility of playing for Brazilian side Flamengo, who have insisted that they would welcome him with open arms. It has been suggested that having a newborn son may cause Ronaldo to set up home in Rio, rather than attempt a stressful return to San Siro. |  |
