Hello !! Can the team captain be a non-skating team member and does the Captain
have to be on the roster as the captain at a bout?

here is my dilemma.

we have a bout scheduled july 18th against birmingham and I was on the roster
as a skater. I was injured at practice wednesday, I ripped my hamstring and cant
walk.

the team decided to take me off the roster "for my own good"

but they wanted to know if I could be team captain at the bout.

I know that the bench coach can be a non-rostered non0-skating official, but

can the Team Captain be non-skating, non-rostered??

anyones input on this would help! Thanks
