I need to be back soon, so 5:45am departure time is best from dental office.

We typically have the morning rides through the summer until the morning sun rises late enough after 6 to be safe (ie - still mostly dark). Historically we have ridden Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The route is only a 17.5 mile route. We start at Belton and Schrimper and ride down to West Mount on Winstead/Beechwood. Then we turn right and take West Mount all the way to Barnes Hill Church Road about 3/4 of a mile before you get to I95. We turn right and take that road all the way up to Oak Level. Turn right and go about 1/4 mile and turn right again on Old Carriage and ride back down to West Mount. We turn left on West Mount and ride back to Beechwood/Winstead and to the Dentist office. Typically we use the first 3.15 miles to warm up and sort ease (though at times that is relative) into the ride. We then form a single pace line at Halifax Road and then each person pulls for 1 mile and we rotate through. We try to keep the pace up
a bit as everyone has to get showered and to work. It seems we really pick it up once we turn back on to West Mount from Old Carriage (the slight down hill from there certainly contributes) and then as we turn on to Beechwood, there is sort of an unofficial sprint that start at the tree line between the old barn and the church and ends at the entry road to Faith Christian School. The goal is to be done and back home getting ready for work before 7.

The morning rides have begun again. They are currently starting at 6 AM. I am going to have to ride seperately and start at 5:45 unless everyone in the morning group would like to switch. I need that extra 15 minutes to get out the door by 7:30. I updated the main page rides a bit today. Please look over it and if you have other rides/times to include, please let me know and I will get them updated. Thank you. I plan to try to ride Wednesday AM at 5:45 if anyone would care for the earlier start, please join me. Eric

I am in for a ride in the morning. I will be at B&S at 7:30. I would vote for either the Sandy Cross/Old Bailey Hwy/Bend of the River 27 mile ride or maybe even the 31 mile Elm City Route. I have about an hour and a half to 45 minutes to ride in the morning.
All you White Lakers - best of luck, keep the wheels turning.

How about meeting at B&S around 7:30? We can see who all shows up and decide a distance and route from there!
I'll run it by the Mrs. and see what she says. I think I should be OK for about an hour or up to an hour and a half ride max.

I would like to ride, but I have a million and one projects to complete and I need to talk to the Mrs. about what time I will have available to me. What are your thoughts on riding? distance? Start time? Saturday or Sunday?
