This site is for road, mountain and triathlon bicyclists in the Rocky Mount, NC area. Its purpose is to give riders in the area the ability to post their riding schedules so that a more enjoyable group ride can take place.

Local Rides that are currently going on - updated 5/12/2009:
Morning Ride : 17.5 miles @ 16 to 19 mph pace : Meet at Belton and Schrimper on Winstead Avenue at 5:45AM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Tuesday evening MTB ride : At the Browntown Road trails. Riders will start meeting there at 5:45 and ride the 3 mile and 2 mile loops. Helmets required and it is ride at your own risk.
Saturday : There is often a morning ride that leaves from Belton and Schrimper and heads north through Red Oak, Castalia, Spring Hope and back through Nashville. The ride has multiple turn offs that can give distances of 20, 30, 40, 50 and 65 miles. This ride may also be to the South.
Sunday : Occasional Sunday rides to Elm City, Wilson, and around the Reservoir.
Weeknights : There are usually a couple of people interested in a Reservoir loop during the week - post if you are intersted.
Other Rides : Wilson has a ride that leaves on Sunday afternoons around 2 from the old Starbucks on 58 across from the McDonalds.
There is also a group that leaves from the Dunn Center most Saturdays for 20 to 30 mile rides - start times vary.
