Hello Everyone,

Firstly, please do forgive my continued "quietness" here, but I
thought it time I said hello to you all again properly.

Hopefully, very soon, I'll be able to catch up with all the messages
here and to reply to them properly too. I'm afraid the last few
months have been extremely stressful and difficult for myself and my
wife Elaine and everything else has gone by the way-side a bit -
including my interests.

Among other things, Elaine's Mum has recently had a melanoma (skin
cancer) removed and we are waiting for the result of the biopsy to
see if it has spread. I have just heard that, unless I can find
something else, I am going to be out of a job later this year. This
will be my 7th redundancy in a row, and this time it has been done
in a particularly nasty way. It's been done in such a way, that
it's left me now that I feel I can't trust anyone there, even the
people who have "seemed" genuine to me, so these have really got me
down.

Next month, we are hoping to get away for a few days, so we are
really looking forward to that. That will hopefully allow me to
gather myself again and get myself sorted out a bit. At the
moment, I'm in a trying to cheer myself up and motivating
myself ................

My cycling has suffered somewhat this year. I've hardly been on a
bike at all. I want to push myself to get back. Hearing about the
2007 Tour de France coming to the UK, is a great incentive for this.

Anyway, I will finish there, but yes, I am still here, and I'm
alive and kicking (well, I don't know about kicking!!). I will try
and catch up with all the messages here as soon as I can.
