I always had good feelings toward Hamiltaon and I wsa surprised that he was
implicted in a doping scandal.
Saying that, I never considered him a real contender for the Tour because of
his frequent crashes and injuries. He's tough and he can withstand more pain
that 10,000 regular guys but you can't win big races if you crash as often as he
does.

Rumsas on the other hand who was also banned has kept himeself busy by
'winning' Italian Gran Fondo's But obvioulsy he was a well known drug
user.Whereas Tyler always maintainsied heis innocence.....

Sorry to sound a bit thick here, but does anyone recall what happened to the Tyler Hamilton case? Did he get exonerated or what? I know his ban was quite close...

The last I heard was that the case was still being deliberated by the authorities. I know Tyler is still riding quite a bit, but not sure what his intentions...
