Anybody currently without a cycling club/team or thinking of changing?
I'm trying to gather a canny bunch of lads together for next season.
Ive been riding for the GS Metro on and off for the last 8 years. Last
year there was about 3 riding and racing and this year there was just me!
I dont want the G.S.Metro to disappear altogether after 25 years so
either :-
• I stick at it and try and generate some interest in the club for it
rise from the flames again
• I start up a brand new club
• I join another club.
Theres not really another club I want to join and new teams and clubs
are popping up every 5 mins. Here today,gone tomorrow.

So far I only have 3 or 4 definites, will try and keep the Belgian
champs style jersey, but will be redesigning it for next season and
using Bioracer clothing so wont be anywhere near the expense of Impsport.
we are looking for Sponsors to help out, but even if we get none we
will still be a bunch of lads who just want to race their bikes.
ANYBODY OUT THERE PREPARED TO HELP WITH SPONSORSHIP? It would be
greatly appreciated :)

Nowadays a lot of folk are only interested in what they can get - free
clothing,free frames,entries or licenses paid etc etc.
I have never had anything like that in 15 years so anything we may or
may not get will be a billy bonus, but even if I dont, I will still be
racing,simply cos I love it

If anyone is clubless,looking for a change because they are the only
one racing in their club, or fancy jumping ship for any other reason
then get in touch and drop me an email

we will still be registered with North East of England division, which
basically means you would be elgible for SCU Champs (if you are
Scottish or live in Scotland) AND be eligible for NE Divisional
champs,should they fall on different days. We will mainly be riding
the GP Series and maybe a handful of Premier calendar events down south.
The existing guys are based in Fife and Edinburgh so will be sharing
the travel costs which always helps.
