Just finished watching flanders that i'd recorded on sunday. I'd
forgotten how exciting it is to watch a bloody good classic - what a
strong break at the end! Zabel was a suprise - maturing with age like
Kelly,Duclos-lassalle, zoetemelk etc
That Ballan looks a good prospect too. But what about youn Tom boonen
- when he burst on the scene in Paris - roubaix 2 years ago he looked
special and It showed on sunday - pure power and belying the fact
that he appears to be more of a sprinter these days. Lets all hope he
doesnt go off the rails like the last great white hope of belgium -

good to see lance in teh final 40k of a Belgian classic too - fair
play to the guy!

good to see Nico Mattan winning at Wevelgem today :0) I like him - a
strong not too fancy rider who has worked hard at hos career and the
last few seasons,all that works paying off for him
Credit to Boonen too - he finished 26th and had an 'off' day. He
finished when many 'stars' would have went back to the team car

It was shown in the US and Canada on cycling tv - did anyone watch it?

Finally - has David Duffield retired from commentating on Eurosport
now? :-( lets hope not!
