RE: [roadracingukandireland] Winter Training

Heyup Jason you are going to be busy.....

Where do you get the time from?

How long are the sets (particular interested in seeing what you are doing as
I plan some further triathlons next year a bit longer than the sprints I
currently do!)

followed Mickys advice and contacted a local cycle club about time trials
and it is my intention to do some 10's and 25's in St Helens when season
restarts.

Just been lent the big black book which is supposed to be the answer to
training on bikes so I'll be looking at that this weekend.

My wife's not going to be happy with the bike on the turbo in the
conservatory though!

bestoluck

Ian

Micky,

I've just had 5 weeks off, and now signed up with my coach.

He's started me on 3 swims, 3 bikes and 3 runs, with 1 optional run
and bike a week. 2 of the bikes are turbo sets and the optional one is
a road ride or a turbo.

After x-mas I'll be doing another 6 week training schedule then onto
the Ironman training, starting about the 14th feb.

Soon I'll have to do some core conditioning so I can stay on the tri
bars when doing the cycle.

Not sure what I may have planned after x-mas.

But got a 3 week holiday xmas day to 15th Jan, learning to be a PADI
divmaster and maybe make a leaving out of scuba diving in a warmer
country than here :)

Jason
