San Francisco to Los Angeles
October 16-24th, 2004


We will fly to San Francisco early in the morning , Saturday the
16th of October. After settling in to our motel we will take a trip
to Fisherman's Wharf to see the sights. Sunday we begin riding down
the coast. Not all, but much of this ride is along the coast watching
the surf hit the beach. We will pass overnight at the towns of Santa
Cruz, King City, Paso Robles, Pismo Beach, Lompoc, Ventura and then
LA. The cost of this ride includes:

Bike shipping*
Roundtrip airfare from Lambert International Airport
8 nights motel (double occupancy)
All ground transportation **
Gear truck/ vehicle support ***
All meals ****
Daily cue sheets *****

* you must be able to get your bike to me 7 days prior to the ride.

** Ground transportation does not include transportation to and from
Lambert International Airport.

*** you will want to be in shape to do this ride and have your bike
in good working order. Support vehicles will change flats and do
minor adjustments but if your bike breaks down we will transport you
to a bike repair shop . We will average 80 miles a day with at least
one century. If you become physically unable to ride we will sag you
to the evening stop.

**** Meals consist of the continental breakfast provided by the
motel, supplemented with fruit and other items provided by us.
Included in each days ride will be snacks and beverages at rest stops
along the route. Lunch will be provided everyday at a prearranged
lunch stops. Dinner each night will be at the restaurant of the
groups choosing and you will have a $20 stipend each night for
dinner.

***** the route will not be marked, but you will be provided with
daily cue sheets with turn by turn instructions. Each day you will
receive a schedule of when rest stops and lunches can be expected.

The cost of this ride is $2000.00 per person (double occupancy)
A non refundable $500.00 deposit is due by July 1st, 2004.
Payments of $500.00 each are due on August 1st, September 1st, and
October 1st. There are no refunds. However, you may sell your spot
to another rider. This ride is limited to four riders with an
additional wait list of 5 riders for a maximum of 9 riders first come
first serve. The ride will not take place unless a minimum of four
riders sign up. However, only the first 4 riders are guaranteed a
spot. Should more than four riders wish to ride we will provide
additional support vehicles to accommodate.

Trip insurance is available for an additional fee through the travel
agency helping us to book this trip.
