I am quite sure that if Petacchi keeps winning and winning, he'll
easily be as good as Cipollini. Petacchi is still fairly young, and
his speed in the last 50 metres is just incredible.
As for beating his stage tally from last year. I doubt it. Everybody
wants to take him down, and winning 6 stages is quite an
accomplishment. But in 3 weeks time... who knows?
Pollack is a sprinter that interestingly also rides a mean time
trial (only the shorter ones). In fact his qualities are much the
same as McGee - he also displayed this in the Tour of Romandy
