I suppose all the bitterness of having wasted 2 years as Lances
understudy and sacrificing his own (very good) chances, could prove
vital.
I think Vinokourov has as a good a chance as 'the big 2' - what fo
you think?

Good point but do you not think he would need a very mountainous Tour? winning the veulta is one thing but the Tour is another against VERY strong all rounders...

True enough. Roberto is not the TT rider that Lance and Ullrich are. I base my choice on the notion that the TdF can be won in the mountains if he keeps close...
