I would personally like to see Lance win it although as you say it is the
only event he rides. I believe he has made the tour his and 6 wins would
finally confirm him as the legend he is...

Jan will run him close if not beat him though.

For 1 individual to stand out so highly amongst fellow sportsman in this day
and age when I feel competition is tighter and general pressures of life,
press competitors are so great then I feel it is only right that Lance
should take the 6.

I do take your point that the other legends raced in more races and I guess
they had probably to look after themselves more than Lance does...

I agree Lance isn't the better rider but for me he is the tour legend and 6
would certainly crown him.

Good point but do you not think he would need a very mountainous Tour? winning the veulta is one thing but the Tour is another against VERY strong all rounders...

True enough. Roberto is not the TT rider that Lance and Ullrich are. I base my choice on the notion that the TdF can be won in the mountains if he keeps close...
