Superb ride by david millar to win the time trial. Apart from when
he won the 16km TT 3 years ago.Britain havent won a long TT or got
anywhere near top 3/4 placing DURING the tour. We have been good at
prologues with Boardman and Millar but when 8 stages have dulled
their legs the Brits have always struggled in the TT stages
until today!...WELL DONE SCOTLANDS DAVID MILLAR :-)

54.36kph - 2nd fastest TT EVER TT - only to lemonds 54.55kph test in
89 - and hge crashed...what would he have done if he hadnt have fell?

As for Ullrich - the conditions went against him. He tried, he
failed, he'll (hopefully) bounce back

Well done Mr Armstrong on win number 5! Would have been good if gap
was 10sec though to see Ullrich sprinting for bonuses tomorrow -
would have been a laugh

Best moment of today,apart from Millars win? When Eurosport
commentator/icon David Duffield suggested to Christine Anderson,
(Phil's wife and co-commentating) that she should wear a bikini
tomorrow when he learned she was going round the course on a
motorbike and the forecast was rain
"....but its WARM rain, i think you should wear a bikini so we can
all see your body" he said! Laugh? I nearly died lol
