Maybe its a deliberate ploy to make the Tour more interesting - knowing that he
can still open the field as and when he chooses.
I think he'll make time on the Time Trials so provided he doesn't come under to
much pressure in the mountains he won't worry. And if he doesn't make the time
on Friday he'll step on it in the mountains and show he's still the boss
