La Primavera is nearly here (saturday) What signals to many
cyclists,the start of the racing season and also disappoints all
those of us who cant see it on TV due to stupid TV rights issue of
the Italian media. Apparently, next year Milan-san remo and Lombardy
wont be part of the world cup because of the disputes!!

Tirreno has finished with Filippo Pozzato of the Fassa Bortolo team
as the winner - WHO? No, i havent heard of him either!
It must have been a flattish or even matched race because Zabel
finished 8th overall at 22sec. Good rides by Boogerd (4th) and
Kloden (7th) Could this be the year when Kloden shows his class as
being the next great german cyclist in the big tours?

The final stage was won by Oscar Freire who beat Mr Cipollini
himself - could this years Milan San Remo turn into a big clash of
the World Champion vs Twice Former champ? will be a mouth watering
prospect to see who wins!
