Hi Daev! How you doing. not heard from you in a while Hows the racing
season going? How did you get on last season?

There's always a case for wearing a helmet cos you never know when
they will be needed. as in your circumastances - crashing uphill!!

I read somewhere that Riis would suggest to Jean-Marie Leblanc, organiser of the Tour de France, that riders were allowed to climb the mountains w/o helmets...

Is that how he dicrashed?by riding no handed nad fiddling in hos pockets? Still a big shame though.... As for the helmets on mountains I think its a good idea....

I came off in a race last year, while going *uphill*. Another rider in the same four-man break snagged by handlebars, and I went backwards off the bike,...
