Hello all!

First --- the Yahoo email list still does not have everyone, but as
long as we continue to use it, the transition will happen. Remember,
you (or me, if you like) can always change your settings regarding
how you receive messages here: All; Special Notice; or None (meaning
you need to log in to the group to see them).


Just an update on weekly play status:

Saturdays:
Last Sat. we had a great showing, with many folk back from the
holidays. We had 7's with subs! Great weather and great play! We
are still at Reno High School for Saturdays, and currently are
showing up in the 1100-1130am range. We fully expect even more to
show this coming Sat! Represent!

During the week:
Folks are wanting to start up the weekly play to 1)Have Fun; and 2)
Try some conditioning drills. Capt Chicken himself proposes 2
nights/week, and is looking for commitments. Rumor has it that Mike
will be passing the scheduling duties to another this season, and as
he has done it for so long I don't blame him. I have heard that we
may be switching from Tuesday nights to something else, like
Monday/Wednesday. This will depend on what the new facilitator sets
up, so nothing permanent to report yet.

Casual Play at UNR:
There are a few of us who are at UNR most of the day, every day, and
the ones I have spoken to would like to meet for casual throws in
between classes or on lunchbreaks. If you are one of these people,
and would like to exchange office phone numbers with me for spur-of-
the-moment play, send me an email at strachan@.... Even if the
Quad is closed, we can always throw in the Bowl.
