Man, this foot thing SUCKS! One doc, meds, physical therapy,
orthodics....

I can barely manage volleyball and life. Running? maybe for 15 minutes.
Hiking? Not sure. Ultimate? No way.

The last out me over the edge and I am with a specialist. He has never
anything quite like my feet and has few option. I'll get a bone scan
soon. Then either cortisone or surgery, with neither looking too
promising.

I've been hoping people are still playing ultimate in case I can beat
this thing!

Congratulations, Daddy-O! or is that Daddy-X (chromosome)? Yet another
kid gets what they need most - an awesome father. I can imagine you
bringing your children a super mix of fun and guidance.

I am in a simliar boat as you know. Both feet are injured and my hips
are aching from sitting (to keep off the damn feet!) Plus my wife will
bringing TWO little ones into thw world in may or June and right the
"morning" sickness lasts all day-week-month, but hopefully will end as
we approach the end of the first trimester. A couple weeks after that
I'll announce to my school and worls that TWINS ARE ON THE WAY!

So Nate, in about 10 years our families ought to be the core a hell of
a junior's team, right? Coed, or maybe even girls. The odds are good
that our twins will be identical.

Again, congratulations on Emma Rose. I have no doubt that you could
have 12 kids and each new one would be life-changing and life-enhancing
  :-)

The BEST news of all is that as a group we almost universally dislike
Saturday afternoons. This may explain our lower turnout on Saturdays.

I know I haven't been out in awhile.  We had our baby 2 months ago and she
ran into health problems.  Now we're just adjusting to a new one and a
toddler.  I've been trying to get ultimate going at Simpson with Mindee and
Mike during the week, but I want to start coming out Saturdays again.  We're
actually getting some indoor ultimate intramurals going on the 22nd and
29th, but after that I'm putting my vote in for Saturday AM, (as if my vote
counts anymore).

I was there at 5:30, waited until 5:50. Heck, it is dark at 7:30...

So we need to make a decision about weekends this winter. My feeling is
that if we want to stay off the sofa and get some exercise, we need to
commit to being there if possible and on time. Of course sometimes we
are out of town, but my take is that folks are saying, "No one is
coming so I think I will stay home." This becomes a cycle and we end up
where we are now.

OK, off my soap box.

Choose a time for weekends if you think you might play 50% of the time
or more:
Sat morning
Sat afternoon
Sun afternoon
