I have a friend who is looking for a lugged, butted steel,
lightweight road bike or frame & fork, in the Mpls/St. Paul
area. Preferrably British but vintage Trek or nice older Japanese
would be OK too. Must have horizontal dropouts for use either as a
single speed or with a Sturmey Archer hub gear.

I'd planned to sell him my '81 Trek but found out my son Matt wants it.
