Grand Rounds Missing Link Public Hearing

The Citizen Advisory Committee charged with recommending a route for
closing the gap in the Grand Rounds Parkway system has made a
recommendation. This is the second of three public hearings held by
the MPRB Planning Committee to offer the public an opportunity to
comment on the proposed route. The Missing Link is a three-mile gap
in the Grand Rounds in the area north of I-394 and east of the
Mississippi River that, when closed, will connect East River Parkway
with St. Anthony Parkway.

The recommended route begins at Stinson and St. Anthony Parkway and
heads east through St. Anthony along Gross National Golf Course. It
follows Industrial Blvd to E Hennepin Ave, Weeks Ave, and 29th Ave
SE. It passes underneath the Burlington Northern railroad tracks to
Kasota Ave. SE and bridges over the rail yard to connect with the new
Granary Road proposed by the City of Minneapolis and ends at East
River Parkway.
