My biking buddy in Iowa has a screamer tandem with the rans flip-it
stem. He was riding out of a parking lot with his wife and turned too
short and the back wheel hit the curb causing him to go down. Wife was
scraped up and he broke a bone in his lower leg. Question: he was
wondering if the free-moving flip-it is less safe than the locking
pivoting stem that he has on his lightning phantom? Especially in an
