And greetings to the newcomers. I've found another email address book on
my old hard drive and added a few names to this mailing from it. There's
over 250 of you now.

The request for English keyboards brought in some interesting replies.
A friend is bringing down a couple on his Christmas vacation and another
pal is looking into mailing a couple down. FedEx wanted $60 for a
package under 10 pounds. If you are thinking of coming down yourself,
let me know if you might have room for a couple.

It's amazing I got 3 pages of journal out of this week because it's been
raining for days now. Saturday is forecast to be clear, then more rain
most of next week. It's interesting that there isn't more flooding. The
geology here is like petrified sponge. The water just keeps soaking in.
Well, at least there is no shoveling or scraping.

The biggest news for me in the real world this week came from two
different eMails telling me that Audi is fielding a V-12 diesel powered
race car in the Le Mans 24 hour race this year. (Le Mans |l? mä n | an
industrial town in northwestern France; pop. 148,000. It is the site of
a race car track, on which a 24-hour endurance race, established in
1923, is held each summer.) The team's shake down race will be at
Sebring Florida after the 1st. Way to go Audi !

The biggest news from fantasy land is that the new Wal-Mart opened in
Playa Del Carmen last week and the grand opening turnout was unreal. I
may try to get over there before Christmas.
