Chris,
Jon Nygren, AKA Aluminum Jonny, has built several machines using auto and
truck bump stop rubbers that he finds along the road as suspension
medium. I have been picking up the ones I've seen, and have several. I
don't have any plans for them so if you want to stop by and see if any
would be suitable you're welcome to them.

I think Dave Krafft knows where to buy urethane based elastomers in
various durometers.

I recall at one of the meetings someone mentioned finding rubber elastomers to use in a rear suspension. Does anyone know of a source for something like this?...
