Jalen Rose and a 1st rd pick for Antonio Davis. I like this trade for many
reasons but the biggest is the 16 million we dont have to pay Rose next
season. It looks as though we will be players in the free agent market this
off season. Davis brings us rebounding and a low post body to take some
pressure away from Bosh on defense. I think we all know Davis is no longer
what he once was but i think he will help the team with leadership. I hope
Davis comes in with a positive attitude and helps this team play some
defense. Davis was reported to want to return to the Bulls after he was
dealt to the Knicks, I doubt he will be excited to join the Raptors either.
The money dump is the reason Wayne Embry can not loose this trade, Jalen
might go to the Knicks and play well but he is not worth the 16 million for
next season. Wayne Embry continues to clean out the garbage that Rob Babcock
could not.
